Uncle Sam's or Mine??

Action Coach will be continuing their series of monthly education seminars for local businesses.  The next event is Thursday, February 23 at 11:30 a.m. at the Northwest Tarrant Chamber Office.

What's the difference between an fully deductible education expense and a 50% deductible entertainment expense? How expensive a client gift can you write off before you have to give the client a 1099 with the gift? As patriotic business owners we want to send more money to Uncle Sam because we are making more profits, not because we didn't document a legal deduction properly. Come hear Dennis Deiman of H&R Block share with us a few secrets on how to legally minimize our tax bills.

General admission is $125. Members of the Northwest Tarrant Chamber of Commerce may attend for $50. Click here for a link for more information and to register.

From the Board Chair...

I can hardly believe that our Annual Awards Banquet is just a few days away.  I hope you will be able to join us.  It is going to be a fun event.  Aside from recognizing all the individuals and businesses that make our community great, we will have Zac Wilson as our Master of Ceremonies.  I am like a kid at Christmas waiting to see what Janet Spracklen, our awards banquet chairperson, and her team of experts have planned.

On another note, our membership directory is at the printer and they will be coming out soon.  From what I hear, it is going to be a great directory.

Have a great week!
